The Director of Outlet Operations will manage the day-to-day operation of all food and beverage outlets. The Director is responsible for the leadership and management of all aspects of the Food and Beverage Outlets in accordance with company policy, procedures, and standards. The director directs, implements, and maintains a service and management philosophy that serves as a guide to respective staff to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.

Special Qualifications, Education, or Licenses:
Experience, skills, and certification
5- 10 years of experience in a similar position
Manager's Safe Serve permit required
TABC required
Essential Elements:
Exert physical effort in transporting up to 50 pounds to and from the work area.
Detail oriented, energetic, resourceful
Strong communicator with guests, associates, and the management team
Ability to multi-task
Not infected by diseases transmitted through food supply as designated by the Public Health Service Department
Compute basic arithmetic to include percentages
Knowledge of various food service styles
Knowledge of menu development
Knowledge of Food and Beverage cost controls
Knowledge of Sales and Marketing tools
Ability to suggestively sell
Job Tasks
Supervise day-to-day operation of all food and beverage outlets
Implement and maintain all Sonesta service brand standards
Work closely with the Executive Chef and the Director of Operations to ensure all menus and offerings remain relevant
Create innovative programs and promotions to market special menu items, increase guest patronage, and boost sales
Work closely with the hotel's Marketing Team to promote outlets on various social communication platforms
Monitor the performance of the outlets through analysis of feedback and financial results and create corrective actions as needed
Keep a detailed log of the Outlets' daily activity
Assist in preparing a monthly forecast
Assist in preparing yearly Food and Beverage budget
Achieve budgeted revenues and control expenses accordingly
Maintain all safety standards to ensure a safe work environment for all
Ensure that all outlet facilities are well maintained and clean, and resolve or report all deficiencies to the appropriate departments
Ensure pre-shift lineups are performed regularly for every associate in the FB Outlets
Perform monthly associate meetings for all outlets individually or combined and keep detailed notes
Perform regular one-on-one meetings with all outlet associates
Promote teamwork and quality of execution by communication and collaboration with other relevant departments such as Sales and Marketing, Banquets, Culinary, Guest Services, Housekeeping, and Engineering among others
Work closely with Human Resources to identify new team members and provide appropriate training and tools
