Type: Full-Time
The Director of Perm is responsible for driving new business and revenue exclusively within the Permanent (Direct Hire) sector, with a focus on the National Practice for Manufacturing Permanent placements. This role manages a team of producers, oversees Client management, and drives business development.
Making an Impact
• Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to drive business growth and market expansion.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to bring in new clients and diversify revenue sources.
• Managing a team - Lead and mentor a team responsible for both client acquisition and candidate placement, ensuring high performance and productivity.
• Strategically plan and allocate resources to maximize coverage and efficiency within designated territories.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and fostering long-term partnerships.
• Serve as the primary contact for resolving internal and external issues and escalations, operations and client satisfaction.
• Oversee profit and loss statements, ensuring financial targets are met and contributing to the company's bottom line.
People Leadership
• Responsible for hiring, onboarding, managing and developing a team; identify and proactively pipeline future talent into the organization.
• Measuring team and individual performance, identifying action items where there are gaps in performance and expectations
• Accountable for P&L by effectively managing talent performance, recruitment, and client acquisition strategies.
Your Typical Day and Other Key Details
• Conduct daily team stand-up meetings to review progress, address challenges, and align on daily goals.
• Analyze and organize requirements based on established processes and strategic recruitment goals, ensuring efficient workflow and alignment with overall business objectives.
Develop (strategies for addressing each requirement, and regularly review progress to ensure all high-priority tasks are on track.
• Regularly communicate with team leads to monitor progress, provide support, and ensure alignment with overall objectives.
• Training & Mentoring: Provide guidance and training to new team members, join sales meetings to support their development, and actively participate in client sales meetings to drive business growth.
• Hybrid work schedule, in office three (3) days a week
Qualifications:
Required
• Education: High school diploma required
• Experience: 5 plus years career experience, Industry experience 3 plus years
• Industry knowledge: In-depth knowledge and experience of one or more practices
• Leadership experience coaching/mentoring and developing talent
Nice to Have
• P&L: Ownership/management experience
• Bachelor's Degree
• Management Experience 3 plus years
