Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of our Protection & Control (P&C) business unit, providing the senior-level leadership necessary for operational excellence and sustainable growth.
Team Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a dedicated team consisting of Ops Managers, Project Managers, and approximately 80 skilled technicians, fostering a culture that prioritizes recruiting, training, retention, and promotion of top talent.
Customer Engagement: Build and strengthen high-level relationships with key stakeholders within our utility client base. Understand and anticipate customer needs through proactive engagement, ensuring exceptional service delivery and satisfaction.
Operational Excellence: Develop and enforce structured processes and procedures, driving continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing performance and efficiency within P&C operations.
Financial Acumen: Manage P&L responsibilities, analyze financial metrics, and develop strategies that facilitate revenue growth from our current $30M to double or triple in the coming years.
Safety Leadership: Champion a world-class safety culture, ensuring all operations align with our commitment to employee and customer safety.
Industry Insight: Stay at the forefront of industry trends and technological advancements, ensuring our services remain compliant with regulations and competitive in the marketplace.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, sales, and field operations teams to implement effective solutions in response to operational challenges.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in the utilities sector, with substantial experience in protection and control systems.
Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
In-depth knowledge of utility operations, project management, and P&L management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
A passion for innovation and a drive for continuous improvement.
