What You’ll Do:
Maintain and update reports and registries for the PCHH team, overseeing all registry work, including outreach, scheduling, and documentation. Review registry data to ensure compliance with workflows and procedures.
Perform audits for invasive procedures and in-house labs, as well as other PCHH data and initiatives, providing audit documentation. Identify and communicate process improvement ideas to staff.
Assist with the Release of Information forms, subpoenas, and court orders, forwarding them to the HIM department. Sort and distribute mail and faxes to appropriate recipients.
Provide Obstetrics (OB) support by running reports, maintaining the OB log, and providing consent forms to the hospital. Offer chart review support to PAs and NPs, forward reviews to physicians, and maintain a log.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) is required; an Associate’s Degree or Certificate from an accredited technical school is preferred
One year's experience working in an office setting is required (preferably a medical or dental office)
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required at a level 9
Ability to prioritize work and handle a variety of tasks simultaneously, with frequent interruptions
Ability to effectively interact with patients, providers, and staff in a professional manner
Basic proficiency in Electronic Medical Records, Word, and Excel
Basic knowledge of medical terminology desired
