Compensation

The base hourly rate for this position is $30.52.

The hourly range for this position is $30.52 - $32.86

$2000 SIGN ON BONUS

We currently have an immediate opening for a full-time Industrial Electrician with verifiable experience, or with a journeyman's card or ENI Experience.

The pay range: $30.52 - $32.86 per hour based on experience. Schedule is 5- 8 hour rotating shifts.

Overtime is paid where applicable

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school; or completion of an Industrial Electrician Program from a qualified technical school; three years of industrial electrical experience
  • Must be able to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and motors
  • Ability to design and install new electrical systems and system modifications
  • Ability to check and calibrate process control instrumentation throughout the plant
  • Must be able to make adjustments to electrical parts of equipment and control systems where needed
  • Comprehend electrical schematics and blueprints
  • The ability to work at heights, stand for long periods of time, walk, climb stairs, reach and stoop frequently

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check
  • Complete work orders as assigned
  • Be an active participant in the safety process and practice safe work habits at all times
  • Maintain equipment and systems for maximum productivity levels
  • Conduct annual inspections and cleaning of motor control centers and electrical switchgear; annual inspections for shorts in breakers, wiring and supervise testing for arc flash
  • Coordinate with outside contractors on electrical projects
  • Program and install programmable logic controllers
  • Follow NFPA 70E electrical safety in the workplace standards
  • Assemble and install all types of new or repaired electrical circuits, systems, instrumentation and equipment, including but not limited to motors, regulators, controllers, switches, etc.
  • Inspect electrical equipment and machinery, diagnose faulty operation, determine proper corrective action, make indicated repairs
  • Dismantle and assemble electrical motors and equipment of most types; repairing, cleaning, and replacing parts
  • Operate with high level professionalism and teamwork orientation
