What You'll Do:
Revise, document, and approve changes to existing drawings per departmental forms.
Provide new design and documentation support, including safety, for production plants.
Assimilate data from various sources to maintain good engineering standards.
Follow through on in-house upgrades, installations, and startups.
Implementation with reports, training, and manuals.
Assist in interfacing vendor equipment and trouble shooting existing equipment on production lines.
Coordinate projects within department.
What you need to have:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
2D and 3D CAD experience, Autodesk products preferred.
Proficiency using Microsoft office products.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
Effectively interface with all disciplines, vendors, and plant management and staff.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Travel up to 25% during the first six months; once established, travel will decrease to up to 15%.
