Warehouses raw materials and finished products. Loads out-going trucks with finished product. Receives incoming purchased goods. Shuttles product to and from warehouses.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Check stock inventory physically and update into system to validate that restocking is in order.
Drives truck to and from warehouses
Loads and unloads finished goods and packaging
Receives incoming raw materials and draws samples (see also Incoming Inspection and Testing Procedure)
Moves bulk supplied raw materials from railcars to silo storage
Performs duties in accordance with the Handling, Storage QOP
Properly stores and keeps records of regrind and globs
Assists in Production Department when needed
Performs other duties required by the QMS, as assigned
Conducts duties according to plant safety policies and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum high school education, or equivalent, and 2 to 5 years related experience
CDL A driver's license
Understanding of plant safety rules and regulations, particularly the Hazard Communication program
Computer skills
Current fork truck certification
Physical Requirements:
Lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50lbs
Ability to work in 100 degree environment (summer months)
