We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Social Media Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic startup team: Simply Eloped. The ideal candidate will be responsible for co-developing and executing our social media strategy across all organic social channels inclusive of Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Tiktok and Youtube.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, our Social Media Specialist plays a crucial role in building and maintaining brand awareness for our brand. You will be responsible for building and executing a strategic social media plan that elevates brand presence and engages our audience while driving awareness, consideration and conversion. On a day to day level, the Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for planning all content and copy across organic social media channels, building out weekly content calendars, providing social support for company wide campaigns, identifying social trends and owning social reporting and analytics.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Content Creation and Management
Develop, plan and execute social calendar and posting across all organic social channels.
Craft and edit copy for all social channels, working closely with the Marketing Manager.
Create video and reel content for various social platforms.
Community management on all social platforms.
Analytics and Reporting
Analyze and report on social media performance metrics for all social platforms, creating weekly and monthly reporting with learnings and next steps.
Develop insights and analysis of creative performance across platforms, and use insights to inform future creative decisions and strategy.
Cross Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with the Simply Eloped product designer for best in class assets to support social channels.
Collaborate closely with cross functional teams (product designer, marketing members at TKWW).
Communicate cross-functionally and with upper management on creative projects and results.
Creative Strategy
Redefine content strategy for digital creative across Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, Pinterest and Youtube.
Provide strategic guidance on creative direction, leveraging channel expertise.
Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness and elevate social strategy.
Up to date on top of the latest social media tools, trends, and cultural moments, and will make recommendations on when our brand should and should not engage.
SUCCESSFUL SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST CANDIDATES HAVE:
Self starter with 2-3 years of active social media experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
In depth knowledge of social media best practices.
Proven experience in content creation for social media.
Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail and ability to bring Simply Eloped's voice to life across social platforms.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing social media strategies that have increased brand awareness and visibility in a startup or similar fast paced culture.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Creative thinker who also has strong analytical skills and a passion for innovation.
Familiarity with tools (Later, Google Analytics and Meta) for scheduling and measuring performance.
Feel passionate about DEI representation in the workplace and on social platforms.
IT'S A BONUS IF:
You have experience scaling a startup or small business through effective social media strategy.
Have hands-on experience creating video and reel content.
Are comfortable being a 'solo creative' that is able to work independently but collaborate stakeholders on projects where support is needed.
