Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Boston, MA that is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial background with excellent planning acumen and experience in managing SG&A budgets. This role requires a self-starter who can support multiple project teams with competing priorities and manage SG&A consolidation within a complex organization.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage SG&A (Selling, General, and Administrative) budgets


• Set targets and track performance against SG&A budgets


• Support multiple project teams, ensuring alignment with financial goals


• Manage SG&A consolidation processes


• Utilize advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting


• Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial planning and budgeting

REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior experience in SG&A management


• Strong financial background with excellent financial planning acumen


• Proven experience in setting targets and managing SG&A budgets


• Experience supporting multiple project teams with competing priorities


• Experience with complex organizations


• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently


• Expert-level proficiency in Excel


• Previous project management experience is a plus


• Previous accounts payable (A/P) experience is a plus


• Management experience is helpful but not required, as this is an individual contributor role

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
