Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior BI Developer & Data Modeler in McLean, VA.

Summary:
The position will support a process to improve reporting, data analytics, and data visualization capabilities by integrating disparate data sources into the warehouse and provide full life-cycle of data management solutions. This role will involve assessments of the current inventory of the data sources, identifying new data requirements & sources for integration, and promote the use of data products offered through the data warehouse.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 10+ years of hands-on data integration experiences and ETL/ELT development - with significant experience in SSIS development, Azure Synapse, or Azure Data Factory


• 10+ years of SQL expertise


• Experience mentoring and leading a technical team of SQL/ETL/BI developers


• Azure fundamentals knowledge and experience in IAAS, PAAS and SAAS


• Azure Analytical tools knowledge such as AAD and Networking fundamental knowledge


• Excellent Data Warehousing experience (i.e., dimensional modeling, star schemas, etc.)


• Excellent Data Modelling experience from conceptual, logical to Physical models


• Experience with report models (i.e., Tabular models and/or Power BI semantic models)


• Excellent knowledge of SSIS development and deployment


• Full lifecycle of database model development

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
