Job Description:


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Boca Raton, FL that is seeking a Data Transformation Analyst.

Summary:
The Data Transformation Analyst will be responsible for developing and optimizing SQL queries and creating and maintaining stored procedures and possesses an expert understanding of the Structured Query Language (SQL), data structures, database management systems and data integration tools. The Analyst will work closely with the Development and Data Migration teams on projects and assists in determining the impact and integration of data to and from various systems. Additionally, the Data Transformation Analyst will validate solutions, so they fit within the data structure and are consistent with the existing configuration and will ensure that the data conforms to quality and content standards, stays current on industry best practices, standards, trends, tools, and techniques, and collaborates with other members of the project team to establish consistency and assist with data mapping and migration to ensure data normalization and validity.

Responsibilities:


  • Analyze and interpret data structures from multiple sources

  • Maintain data mappings to ensure accurate data conversion

  • Create and execute scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes

  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of converted data to ensure accuracy and consistency

  • Identify and troubleshoot data inconsistencies and other data-related issues

  • Design, develop and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation

  • Ensure SQL queries are efficient and adhere to best practices for performance and security

  • Create, maintain, and optimize stores procedures to support data migration processes and activities

  • Ensure stored procedures are well-documented and follow coding standards

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to stored procedures

  • Work closely with the development and migration teams to understand data requirements and


provide solutions




REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • 3-5 years of proven experience in data conversion, SQL Development, and stored procedures

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL)

  • Experience with data integration tools

  • Strong diligence and commitment to data accuracy and consistency

  • Ability to work with large datasets and complex data structures

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Familiarity with cloud-based data services; AWS is a plus

  • Knowledge of data security and privacy best practices

  • Familiarity with data mapping tools and techniques

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is


essential

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Demonstrated aptitude towards analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to assess


relevant facts, identify alternative approaches and supply recommended solutions

  • Flexible during times of change

  • Expertise in the Microsoft suite of products, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
