Who are we looking for?
Our Southeast Water business is looking for a Water Resources Engineer to join their team in Atlanta, GA! In this role, you will assist with the preparation of investigations, technical studies, designs, and project management & development for water/wastewater/stormwater infrastructure systems throughout the region for our municipal sector clients.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
Completing assigned study, design and associated hydraulic/hydrologic modeling of stormwater management systems
Completing evaluation and designs for municipal wastewater / water system improvements
Performing wide variety of other duties to include project management tasks for water / wastewater and stormwater projects from study phase through design phase
Performing design calculations, alternative analyses
Developing water collection, conveyance and distribution system layouts
Coordinating internal and client project progress meetings
Assisting with coordination of multi-disciplinary design projects
Maintaining open communication with project team members
What you will bring to the team:
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification with intent to pursue Professional Engineer (PE) License in GA, SC, or NC; already having your PE is a plus
5-10 years of relevant water engineering experience, including underground linear utilities such as water, wastewater, and stormwater
Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team and independently
Willingness to observe construction activities and complete field investigations
Willing and able to travel to project sites and client meetings
