Concrete Materials Lab Internship at Braun Intertec in Chicago, Illinois

Job Description:

Braun Intertec is seeking an Intern to join our Concrete Materials Lab in our Chicago, IL location.


Responsibilities:

• Performs various laboratory tests on concrete and masonry materials


• Assists the supervisor in sample preparation


• Other miscellaneous laboratory tasks as assigned

Required Skills:

• Ability to work independently


• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals


• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form


• Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis


• Must be Computer literate


• Ability to travel up to 25%

Required Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent


• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record


• Forklift training helpful
