KaiHonua, LLC is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed Senior Systems Administrator to join our growing team. The VTC team supports mission-critical media operations and communications for our government customer that is responsible for providing IT services and support across multiple US Army Commands. The UC Administrator will be responsible for supporting communication events and facilitating and coordinating connections of various media resources to stand up Video Teleconference (VTC) and UC connections across geographically disperse locations. The role of a Unified Communications Systems Administrator-III is to serve as the final escalation point for all Unified Communications issues in the customer organizations. The position requires direct management oversite of the VTC technical teams.
Responsibilities and Duties (Not listed in order of importance; other duties may be assigned) and must be able to perform the following with minimal guidance:
Primary focal contact for all VTC team operations
Schedule and manage telephone meetings using phone conference, VTC, and UC systems
Troubleshoot problems such as joining, conducting, and participating in phone conference, VTC, and UC meetings
Support various operations and maintenance (O&M) tasks for a variety of media systems, including live and delayed streaming broadcasts
Perform system integrity and connectivity tests to ensure system availability
Assess and report on performance and usage numbers
Serve as an escalation point for Jr. System Engineers & System Administrators for all issues related to Unified Communications environment within the Desktop solution
Installs, maintains, and troubleshoot complex high availability hardware and software
Works directly with Microsoft PFEs/Vendor, Engineering and DTF on improvements of the DTE Solution
Identify issues and create improvement processes to help with the reduction of incident outage times
Provide Technical Leadership to the entire Tier II - III Teams
Mentors Jr. System Administrators and System Engineers; including On-the-Job Training to staff
Ensure compliance with policies and procedures including DoD STIG requirements
Develop and maintain documentation of all processes associated with administration of the network and duties performed by network & system administrators
Compensation Minimum: $80,000
Compensation Maximum: $90,000

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
8+ years of experience performing systems administration functions
6+ years of Windows System Administration; 3+ years of SCCM experience
Must possess and maintain an IT I level certification IAW AR 25-2 and an IAT II certification IAW DoD 8570.01-M and BBP 05-PR-M-0002
Knowledge
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Server (2012 R2 preferred), Active Directory, Hyper-V SCVMM (2012), SQL Database (2014 preferred)
In-depth knowledge of High-Availability computing and networking (load balancing, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS)
Hands-on experience installing, troubleshooting and publishing applications using XenApp technologies
Customer service skills, and experience fielding and troubleshooting customer questions and issues
Extensive experience supporting messaging and Unified Communications/media systems such as: phone conference systems, VTC systems, UC interfaces, live and delayed streaming video, and digital signage technologies across multiple site
Experience with Video Teleconference (VTC) and Unified Communications (UC) technologies
Experience with media/VTC/UC vendors and technologies such as Polycom, Microsoft Lync (Skype for Business), VBrick, Sonus, Cisco, Ectocryp, Acano, etc.
Proficient in handling the most complex of technical development concepts, latest software tools and technologies, strong database concepts and designing techniques.
Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory/GPO integration with SCCM
Experience developing custom ad hoc SQL queries for SCCM data analysis
Possesses good knowledge of different software systems, client/server architectures and various compatibility requirements.
Experience in troubleshooting, software development processes and ability to understand and implement client requirements.

Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weight up to thirty (30) pounds as necessary.
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record may be required
Occasional use of company vehicle while on work site

Position requires a Secret security clearance. Must be a US citizen.
