Description
Job Summary: Responsible for performing repairs and diagnostics on all equipment: customer owned, company owned, and those under warranty, both in-shop and at customer sites.
Essential Duties:
• Builds knowledge of dealer supported product lines, service standards, and procedures and keeps abreast of all changes in various models of equipment sold and serviced by the distributor.
• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Service shop and Factory standards.
• Vehicle inspection including factory warranty repairs, computer diagnostics and programming.
• Attend local, regional, and national service schools and training sessions as requested.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment not only in shop but also at customer sites.
• Utilize various equipment and tools to include, but not limited to hand tools, power tools, testing/diagnostic equipment, cranes and hoists.
• Foster close, positive working relationships with all service, parts and administrative personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications:
• 2-year Diesel Technician/Mechanic degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years working in a full-time technician/mechanic role on heavy duty chassis.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical experience
• Welding/cutting torch experience preferred
• Excellent skills in communication, interpersonal, organizational, and attention to detail
• Working usage of MS Office Suite and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Job Summary: Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with strategic customers in the assigned region while providing leadership, support, and guidance to a team of Sales Representatives.
Essential Duties:
* Develop sales strategies and techniques to increase our market share and improve the customer experience
* Oversee Sales Representatives and their professional development while also helping them resolve customer concerns or issues
* Maintain and nurture existing key or strategic customer relationships to ensure those customers are satisfied with the level of sales, service, and support they receive from us to retain/grow our business
* Increase customer engagement, interactions, and transactions within the assigned region Area of Responsibility.
* Prepare accurate sales forecasts leveraging our CRM system tool, the 5-4-3-2-1 Sales Process, and Fleet data for each Sales Representative and for the region
* Advise and make recommendations with respect to regional trends, competitive strategies, and support required
* Other duties as assigned
Desirable Qualifications:
• Direct industry experience
• Class B CDL
