Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Estimator with at least five years of expertise in residential construction and concrete foundation projects. This role involves evaluating project scope, preparing accurate proposals, conducting quantity take-offs, and providing precise cost estimates for all stages of each project. The Estimator will collaborate closely with the sales team to generate new business opportunities by building strong connections with engineers, architects, subcontractors, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and nurture strong partnerships with engineers, architects, subcontractors, contractors, vendors, etc., to support accurate estimations and successful project execution.
Maintain thorough and timely reporting to project stakeholders, and be ready to present updates to management as needed.
Review and interpret project documents.
Conduct detailed quantity take-offs for all project phases.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in construction management or equivalent relevant experience.
Minimum of two years in residential construction/estimating; solid understanding of residential construction and concrete foundation methods, materials, and best practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Self-motivated, with strong communication and time-management skills.
Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and site plans.
Skilled in managing multiple projects and bids simultaneously within a fast-paced, professional setting.
