Our Global Logistics and Distribution business unit provides comprehensive logistics services and warehousing solutions utilizing a global network of distribution centers, innovative technology and supply chain expertise to manage the flow of goods from receiving to storage and order processing to shipment.
Job Summary:
The Carrier Relations Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and managing the day-to-day activities associated with carrier performance. He/She analyzes and coordinates high dollar customer requests for quote (RFQ) among carriers. This position supervises specialists within the department.
Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills - Required.
Proficient in Excel including advanced functions like pivot tables, vlookup, data analysis - Required.
Experience with TMS (transportation management systems) - Required.
Proven leadership in team management, vendor management, demonstrating ability to prioritize tasks and make quick decisions under pressure. - Required.
Capable of handling high-pressure situations and manage tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. - Required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination with drivers, customers and other team members. - Required.
Focus on adaptability and flexibility with changing schedules, new challenges and varied transportation needs. - Required.
Bachelor's degree or internation equivalent and/or be a current employee with 3 years of UPS experience - Preferred.

Schedule/Working hours: Monday-Friday 8am-6pm OR 9am-7pm
Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate yourself - Required
