Duties:
Designs and produces recruitment materials, attends recruitment fairs and presents guest lectures to students.
Creates and maintains relationships with partnering high schools and colleges and the Office of Pharmacy Student Affairs.
Serves as a resource to guide prospective students about pharmacy career opportunities and pharmacy early assurance admissions requirements.
Serves as a student recruiter for college programs.
Designs, produces and maintains recruitment literature
Prepares and maintains college bulletins responds to prospective student and applicant inquiries
Represents the college at career fairs and guest lectures held at other universities and high schools
Works with Pharmacy Student Affairs to coordinate recruitment fairs and academic advising sessions.
Serves as a resource to guide prospective students about the admissions process.
Provide advisement to prospective students
Respond to inquiries by email or by telephone
Social media management; performing high school visits or tabling; attending various fairs, classes or events.
Establish and maintain liaison with health career counselors at other high schools
Maintain and distribute information to students regarding scholarship and career opportunities
Serve as the liaison between on-campus and external entities.
Create partnerships with high school counselors, principals, administrators to establish tailored programming
Create and design print and/or web materials to provide information on pharmacy career opportunities, potential scholarships, etc
Set up campus visits or site visits at area pharmacies
Serve on campus Recruitment Council to partner with other colleges and coordinate efforts on the high school level.
Coordinates and carries out projects or assignments pertaining to recruitment, or activities of the college.
May include event planning, producing in-house publications, performing public relations functions, etc.
Serves as a member of various project teams and may lead projects.
Create and design brochures/print materials/web content/social media content
Coordinate with university Marketing/Communications office
Plan tailored events both on and off campus for high school students
Lead projects related to PEAP program and serve as part of the COP recruitment & admissions team.
May be asked to serve on various taskforces, advisory boards or committees both on and off campus
Responsible for various reporting both internally and to the InAsMuch Foundation
May support as assigned recruitment activities when needed
May participate in various trainings or participate in professional organizations dedicated to recruitment and admissions and the health professions
Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.
Required Education: Bachelor's degree, AND:
12 months of related experience.
Equivalency Substitution: Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 60 months of related experience.
Skills:
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Basic math skills.
Computer skills, including proficiency in navigating and maintaining databases.
Some travel required for recruiting.
Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information.
Highly organized and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
Ability to communicate well and build rapport with students, faculty and staff.
Ability to read and interpret policy as well as State and Federal regulations.
