Apply now to join our team and be part of something truly meaningful.Want to Know More, Keep Reading!The Guest Support Specialist partners with FPTV case managers to assist guests in a 24-hour shelter setting to provide a safe, clean, and supportive environment. This position will interact with other staff members and supervisors as well as provide additional staff and guest support wherever it's needed. Our ideal candidate will relish that no two days are the same, and your role will change and grow as we do.Required Qualifications:1+ years of experience in similar positions, e.g., direct care, guest assistant, front desk work.Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are highly valued and preferred!Strong integrity and commitment to client satisfaction.Passionate about ensuring excellent treatment and care for clients, staff, and vendors.Proficient multitasking skills.Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to ensure prompt follow-through.Ability to authentically connect with others and meet participants where they are while maintaining appropriate and professional boundaries.Ability to navigate challenging discussions with appropriate boundaries and confidentiality.Pleasant, patient, and friendly attitude.Attention to detail.Excellent listening skills.Strong work ethic and team player mentality.Ability to handle complaints and challenging clients professionally.Ability & willingness to cover additional hours outside of regular shift, including Holidays and inclement weather preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Docs.Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.Due to federal funding, drug use, including marijuana, is prohibited during employment.Must be 18 or older and have reliable transportation.Desired Qualifications:Willing to pick up additional shifts or hours based on organizational needs and personal availability is preferred.Familiarity Apricot or guest registration databasesFamiliarity with Google Drive and OutlookCPR/First Aid/Narcan CertificationValid food handlers cardAt FPTV, we recognize that talent and potential come in many forms.
