About the Role:
Are you ready to help keep our airport running smoothly, ensuring that operations stay on time, passengers stay safe, and every flight takes off without a hitch? As a Safety and Risk Officer, you'll be like the air traffic controller for our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) objectives—keeping an eye on everything from takeoff to landing to ensure our organization operates safely and efficiently.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) objectives are on course and functioning at full throttle. Your keen eye will spot potential risks, evaluate complex scenarios, and apply advanced analytics to steer clear of any accidents or mishaps. With your insights, we can prevent accidents and maintain a healthy, accident-free environment—keeping our organization soaring to new heights.
As part of our dynamic crew, you’ll collaborate with multiple business units, gathering data that fuels the renewal of the RDU Insurance Program and other key risk assessments. Under the guidance of our Vice President of Risk Management, Safety, and Insurance, you'll be instrumental in making sure we have the right tools and strategies to chart a safe and successful path.
Whether you’re analyzing data, partnering with cross-functional teams, or assisting with risk mitigation projects, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our operations stay in the clear, no matter what challenges lie ahead.
