Job Summary:
This position is responsible for managing HSA Bank's relationships with key strategic Partners. These Partners include health plans and strategic organizations who are promoting and working directly with HSA Bank's clients and products. The Executive Relationship Manager is deemed the subject matter expert in all Partner details and works independently yet is required to engage cross functionally with Consultant Relations, Account Executives, Partner Services, Sales, and other areas of HSA Bank to develop strategic plans and initiatives to increase accounts, deposits, revenue, and relationship satisfaction. The Executive Relationship Manager will carry out these duties by working with the Partner's senior leadership, field personnel, sales and account management, operations, IT, Legal and other areas to recommend and seek agreement on strategies and activities that will drive revenue growth and Partner satisfaction. This position will be responsible for engaging the right personnel at HSA Bank and Partner to resolve issues that arise. As an Executive Relationship Manager, it is expected that this person will have approximately 5+ years of spending account, health plan and/or partnership experience and will serve as a mentor to the other Relationship Managers.
***Remote position, however, the ideal candidate must live in the Texas location.
Job Responsibilities:
Identify and maintain frequent and consistent interactions with Partner contacts, key decision makers, and influencers who are responsible for driving partner new business. The nature of these contacts is to provide compelling reasons for recommending HSA Bank products, industry insight, Partner specific insight, best practices, and other information that will lead to HSA Bank being the preferred administrator.
Promote activities that drive opportunities to HSA Bank. Monitor RFP activity to provide insight and assistance in getting the RFP to Closed/Won status.
Strong pulse of partner organization, leadership, organizational change initiatives, and strategic plans are necessary to build and maintain relationships that will be required for partnership growth.
Foster efforts to effectively source and gain feedback on our service levels; recognize client issues and initiate resolutions while working with internal parties for corrective action and management for process improvement.
Monitors and reports on account growth progress against the plan.
Effectively trains HSA Bank members on Partners and large groups to expand bank-wide knowledge.
Ability to develop and execute growth activities with limited feedback and direction from others.
May participate in Open Enrollment meetings by answering questions and presenting the HSA Bank value and platform functionality.
Achieve Partner account, deposit, and revenue growth goals.
Maintains all interactions, Partner contacts, Partner characteristics, opportunities, and other information as requested in Salesforce.
Mentor other team members with developing and executing growth activities.
Manages travel and expense budget.
Education/Experience/Job Skills
BS preferred - Marketing, Communications, or related Business degree. Related experience considered in lieu of degree.
5 - 8 years of related experience - Prior experience in account/relationship management, partnerships or in employee benefits
Approximately 5+ years of spending account and health industry experience. Prior sales experience is a plus.
Approximately 3+ years of partnership experience.
Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability. Handles day-to-day challenges confidently and willing to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change.
Keen ability to interact with sales, consultants, and account management professionals at all levels of their organization.
Excellent interpersonal skills needed.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions: List requirements not found in a typical office environment which includes sitting, standing, computer use, lifting up to ten pounds, using office equipment, speaking on a telephone, and serving customers. Examples of non-typical environment include business travel, driving a car, non-standard business hours, on-call duties, lifting more than ten pounds, testifying in regulatory matters, working in extreme weather conditions, etc. Travel is required and requires a valid driver's license with a safe driving record. Longer distance travel via airline will also be required.
The estimated salary range for this position is $95,000USD to $125,000USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
