DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES





  • Develops curriculum, materials and executes training events across the DuBois functions designed to increase the knowledge and skill sets of employees.

  • Work with functional leaders to determine required skills and establish training programs.

  • Responsible for creating and/or sourcing training content, selecting presenters, communicating, and organizing in-person training for DuBois Chemicals. Will create training and evaluation materials for achieving advanced certification within roles and leveraging technology to advance remote training across DuBois.

  • Develops follow-up actions to reinforce training content.

  • Maintain and update the DuBois LMS and training records.

  • Must effectively communicate with employees and customers.

  • Support HR, EHS and Quality departments in rolling out plant needed trainings in these areas as well as on-going leadership and supervisory training.

  • Other duties as assigned.




QUALIFICATIONS



  • 7 - 10 years of relevant experience in a training role

  • Proven classroom/platform skills with effective verbal, written and oral communication skills.

  • Strong track record of training development across a variety of topics and platforms

  • Thorough understanding of a variety of manufacturing processes preferred.

  • Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.

  • Technical skills with a thorough knowledge of Excel, Access, Power Point and Word

  • Proven record of problem-solving skills and an analytical approach to problem solving.

  • Effective time management skills and the ability to manage and roll-out multiple programs at the same time.

  • Highly collaborative with excellent teamwork skills.

  • Work experience with a focus on Safety, Quality, and employee development.

  • Creativity and the ability to innovate to manage cost and deliver high quality programs.

  • Proven influential leadership skills.

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (in-person and webinar).

  • Proven coaching and interpersonal skills.




EDUCATION REQUREMENTS



  • BS degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related discipline




OTHER INFORMATION



  • Type of position - Full-time

  • Hours a week: 40 hours

  • Travel 25 - 50%
