GENERAL FUNCTIONS:
The Member Services Coordinator is a key part of the leadership team and is responsible for creating a positive, member-focused culture, facilitating member involvement and relationship building and serving to exceed expectations. This is carried out through role modeling, establishing expectations, communicating, and making decisions that are consistent with this culture. This position leads staff which serves as one of the first connecting points a member and/or potential member has to the YMCA.

JOB LOCATION:John R. Grubb Family YMCA
SHIFTS AVAILABLE: Monday-Friday - maximum 20 hours a week; may require weekends to accommodate activities and events
PAY RATE: $17.00-$20.00/hour based on qualifications

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Create, plan and deliver member-focused culture.Prepare and manage budget for Member Services.Develop and implement plan to build member engagement opportunities.Manage and coordinate all administrative functions including membership sales, financial assistance, membership changes, program registrations and membership accountingfunctions and processes.Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff team members.Prepare reports and rosters using computer information.Develop and implement evaluation plan to determine impact of member engagement opportunities.Know emergency procedures and be able to demonstrate them to others.Respond to questions and concerns of program participants and families.Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or designated staff person.Demonstrate and support the objectives of the Association as embodied in the mission statement and values.
