Responsible for development of the annual budget and analyzing financial performance at one site or several small sites throughout the year. Consolidate financial results for reporting to senior leadership. Collaborate with other departments/teams within the division to drive data quality and provide insights. - Bachelor's Degree accounting/finance
- Ability to perform statistical data analysis and analytical review

Desired
- Strong ability to learn Kroger software (Crystal Reports, Business Objects, DODECA and ESSBASE)- Develop the annual budget and accurate financial projections for assigned distribution center(s) in conjunction with site senior leadership
- Identify through consultation with the site leader and other department leaders the key actions necessary to achieve the financial budget
- Partner with the site leader and other department leaders to drive execution of key action items to achieve budget results
- Analyze results, review, and explain key drivers of significant variances to budget and projected results
- Consult and serve as the primary point of contact for the Regional Account Service Center (RASC), General Office (G.O.) and site personnel on all closing financial matters including period close journal entries
- Produce financial, statistical, and operational information from multiple sources for use in leadership decision-making
- Prepare financial models and ad hoc reports of financial transactions into accurate timely reports that provide meaningful information for operations leadership and/or comply with federal, state, and local regulations
- Perform a variety of other duties across departments to evaluate the financial impact of action plans and processes to achieve goals
- Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports
- Maintain flexibility to work any shift, including holidays based on operational demand
- Travel to other Kroger Supply Chain sites for stakeholder interest
