Job Description:

Reports to: Head of Global Security (Manager Global Security)

Location: St. Louis HQ

Position Purpose:

Supports USA security efforts, largely focused on the Peabody St. Louis Headquarters. Administers security programs and procedures for Peabody St. Louis Headquarters and provides additional support for USA and Global security efforts. Studies and implements security regulations that apply to company operations. Prepares outlines for granting personnel and visitors access to sensitive company areas. Conducts security education classes and security audits. Assist in security investigations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Maintain liaison with mine locations, external customers, contractors, employees, and managers in regard to access controls. Willing to work in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication and organization skills in a team environment.

Principal Accountabilities:


  • Oversees and administers badge access for all Peabody St. Louis Headquarters employees and visitors. This includes developing outlines for access to sensitive company areas.
  • Monitors and controls the AED/CPR training for Peabody USA, both at Peabody St. Louis Headquarters and all USA mine locations. Provides reporting for all USA issued AEDs on maintenance/issues utilizing the AED dashboard application.
  • Arranges all CPR/AED training for Peabody St. Louis Headquarters employees.
  • Invoicing for the security and safety departments once trained.
  • Responsible for reviewing and directing any voicemails left on the company phone service to the appropriate admin.
  • Identifies and evaluates threats, vulnerabilities, exposures and consequent risks to Company employees and assets in St. Louis.
  • Responds and reacts to a crisis or security events for the Peabody occupied areas of the Peabody St. Louis Headquarters.
  • Develops, maintains and distributes regular updates on security and protections plans and procedures for Peabody St. Louis Headquarters.
  • Provides or oversees the delivery of hazard training for Peabody St. Louis Headquarters for all employees, contractors, visitors and vendors.

Qualifications:


  • High school diploma
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Possesses background and knowledge of global security practices and laws an
  • Able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to handle crisis situations while keeping composure
  • Ability to build positive working relationships across corporate functions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with other team members, departments, and vendors
  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills in order to quickly and efficiently resolve issues

Experience:


  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience

Physical Demands and Work Environment:


  • Must have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing.
  • Must have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment.
  • Must be able to use a computer.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Some positions may require occasional repetitive motion or movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Must be able to life up to 10 pounds frequently and 25 pounds on an occasional basis.
