Your Role:
As a Senior Strategic Product Manager for our Aseptic Portfolio, you will work closely in a highly visible global team focused on product/portfolio strategy, integrated business management and next generation technologies for (bio-)pharmaceutical production acting as a business owner. Based on deep knowledge of global market dynamics, customer needs and business opportunities in your area of responsibility, you will drive the development and implementation of mid- to long-term strategies for the Aseptic Business focusing on customer satisfaction and driving portfolio growth.
In this role you will be expected to work on various activities:
Execute Aseptic business strategy to meet short and long-term business objectives: drive order intake, competitive conversion and seeding
Drive critical innovation projects (i.e., Aseptic offering for Novel Modalities): business case and concept briefs preparation, market assessment, voice of customer, financial analysis, new product positioning and market introduction, launch collaterals, sales training, etc.
Analyze market dynamics and develop reliable forecasts
Support portfolio pricing strategy by working closely with product owners and the pricing team to maximize win rate and profit contribution
Proactively manage portfolio lifecycle strategy: drive decisions from product development and market introduction, up to product rationalization, to secure overall business health and optimize our offering that reflects customer needs
Define portfolio positioning, segment and marketing plans in alignment with the business strategy and based on extensive product, application and industry knowledge; actively monitor competitor portfolio, innovation pipeline and activities; align with internal stakeholders to develop appropriate Go-To-Market plans
Lead and prepare business cases for strategic investments and drive the decision-making process
Work proactively with commercial teams to understand specific customer needs, overall market trends and future opportunities
Collaborate and align with internal stakeholders across functions (e.g., R&D, Portfolio Operations, Strategy, Commercial, Pricing, Value Chain, Controlling) and multiple sites in a global and highly complex matrixed environment
Prepare presentations to be socialized with stakeholders, sponsors and senior management
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in engineering or business; Master's degree, MBA, or PhD is a plus and/or 5+ years professional experience, preferably in Life Sciences or pharmaceutical industry
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong business acumen
Experience in leading business strategies, product development, go-to market strategies with a customer centric mindset
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical and digital skills, including the ability to build and interpret business and market data as well as efficiently use digital tools
Ability to collaborate and influence in complex international network of functions and stakeholders, and drive decisions
Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of independence
Innovative and proactive mindset
Familiarity with BioProcessing applications in biopharmaceutical processing is a plus
Standard business travel, ability to travel internationally (< 10%)
