We are seeking a Buyer to join our team and play a critical role in supporting the daily operations of the company through strategic procurement and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have strong vendor relationship management skills, a solid understanding of inventory systems, and a commitment to customer service excellence. This position will involve managing the purchasing process, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring that all supply chain operations align with production schedules and business goals.
Key Responsibilties:
Vendor Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term vendor partnerships focused on collaboration, trust, and cost-effective solutions. Negotiate terms, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery and quality assurance.
Inventory Management: Oversee inventory to meet production needs, manage safety stock levels, and monitor lead times to prevent stockouts or overstocking. Work with internal teams to forecast and plan inventory requirements.
Customer Service: Act as a key contact for internal and external teams to ensure timely procurement and inventory management, addressing quality or delivery issues to meet production schedules and customer satisfaction.
System & Data Management: Input and manage purchasing data in the MRP system, including lead times, costs, and part numbers. Generate reports on material status and inventory levels, ensuring system accuracy and optimal performance.
Procurement Oversight: Place and track purchase orders, adjust procurement strategies based on market trends, and continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality.
General Duties: Stay updated on industry trends, participate in team initiatives, and perform other duties as needed to support procurement and company goals.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
