Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Java Software Engineer in Merrimack, NH.

Duties Include:

• Gathering and incorporating feedback from management to aid in the design and development of the MEG products


• As a Java Software Engineer, you will help define and implement the product vision, incorporating the best of both existing technologies with an eye to how future technologies can help advance the product


• Bringing your unique perspectives and expertise to this role to make MEG an outstanding infrastructure solutions organization for MEG's partners and clients

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred


• 6+ years of experience working in technology or a related field


• Proven experience in Java, Spring framework, Spring boot, Restful Service is a must


• Experience with Angular UI, TypeScript, and HTML


• Experience in GitHub, Insomnia and CI/CD pipeline is a must


• Experience with production support is a must


• Knowledge in SQL and data analysis


• Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code


• Very good communication skills with ability to do internal demos and presentations


• Docker and Kubernetes experience is a strong plus


• AWS experience in services like IAM, S3 and Lambda is a plus


• Basic knowledge or prior experience in the financial services domain a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
