Job Description Summary | The University of South Alabama’s Department of Human Resources is seeking to hire two Benefits/Employee Relations Consultants. Interested candidates should apply to be considered. |
Essential Functions | We are seeking two detailed-oriented human resources professionals to join our HR team. In these positions employees are responsible for the day-to-day management of our comprehensive employee benefits program. Furthermore, these positions will work one-on-one with our new employees by overseeing their new hire enrollment, and will conduct new employee orientation. Additionally, we are seeking HR professionals with excellent written and oral communication skills as these two positions will also provide assistance with the management of the employee relations program. These positions will be responsible for assisting with resolving employee relations issues, investigating complaints, mediating conflict, and interpreting employment policies. With direction from the Senior Manager of Employee Relations, these positions will advise management on disciplinary actions, ensuring compliance with employment law, and will diligently work in promoting positive employee relations through communication and training. Regular and prompt attendance and the ability to work schedule as assigned and additional hours as required. Related duties as required. |
