The Iowa River Landing Clinic is seeking a 100% Clinical Pharmacist. Clinical Pharmacists provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care services in an ambulatory pharmacy setting and will be responsible for daily operations of the pharmacy. The pharmacist is involved in all aspects of patient care including but not limited to therapeutic drug monitoring, order and prescription verification, oversight of the preparation of sterile and non-sterile products, immunizations, medication dispensing, and medication education. The Clinical Pharmacist collaborates with Iowa River Landing clinics and staff. This role may also support both pediatric and adult ambulatory care operations at an offsite location.
Position Responsibilities:
Provides Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (TDM) on clinic-administered medications and take-home prescription orders.
Documents all patient care activities performed
Coordinate patient communications and interactions
Facilitates operational initiatives which lead to enhanced patient care services
Provides educational services
Safely and accurately verifies sterile and non-sterile compounded products following USP < 800>, USP < 797>, and USP < 795> guidelines
Assists with inventory control, including controlled substances
Other duties as assigned

Schedule: 40 hours a week will be accomplished between the times of 6:30am and 8:30pm Monday through Thursday, 6:30am and 6:00pm Friday, and a Saturday rotation.
Rotations: Saturday and evening rotation.

Education Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
Experience Requirements:
One (1) year of applicable pharmacy experience is preferred. Prior work or student rotational experience may be considered as relevant
Current licensure by the Iowa Board of Pharmacy Examiners required upon hire.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Job related experience with and/or commitment to service excellence.
Professional experience working effectively with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives.
Desired Qualifications:
Completion of an ASHP accredited PGY1 Residency.
Immunization Certification.
Basic Life Support Certification.
Health system pharmacy experience.
Clinic order experience.
Sterile and non-sterile compounding experience.
Board certification in Ambulatory Care, Pharmacotherapy, or other pertinent area.
