The appointment will begin in Fall 2024 and be for one year, renewable for up to three years depending on performance and availability of funds. Education & Experience Position Qualifications:
The successful candidate should have a PhD by the time of appointment and will conduct research in theoretical quantum physics, with a focus on the non-equilibrium dynamics of many-body systems across the fields of AMO, condensed matter and quantum information science. Topics of interest will include, but are not limited to, non-equilibrium dynamics in quantum spin systems, as realized in AMO platforms of polar molecules, Rydberg arrays, magnetic atoms or spinor BECs, and applications in quantum simulation and quantum sensing.
