Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center, Indiana's first community mental health center, provides comprehensive care for emotional and behavioral problems, including severe mental illness and substance abuse. The Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Centeroffers both inpatient and outpatient services, including several outreach centers as well as clinic- and community-based services.

The Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center Business Operation Director works with the implementation and coordination of operational changes to meet financial goals including, but not be limited to, clinical operations, staffing changes, policy and procedure changes, and regulatory changes.
Am I Qualified?
Master's degree in Business Administration, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or Health Administration
Five years of clinical experience in a mental health setting
Two years of management/supervision experience
Must meet the following basic competencies if applicable:
Mental Status Exam, Medications, DSM IV, Legal, CPI, Functional Assessment (HAP), CPR, Annual Education, Confidentiality, CANS (Staff Working with Children), and Addictions

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Proactively contributes to Eskenazi Health's mission: Advocate, Care, Teach and Serve with special emphasis on the vulnerable population of Marion County. Models Eskenazi Health's values
Endorses and models a strength based, addiction and mental health recovery centered model of care
Works with the team in setting goals, and makes recommendations regarding additions to program and/or reallocation of staffing resources
Conceptualizes and develops consumer satisfaction and performance improvement initiatives
Establishes quality/outcome indicators for programs and regularly assesses progress, reporting outcomes to the Leadership Team
Ensures client care follows established best practices
Continually assesses efficiency of programs and makes needed adjustments to assure maximum productivity and profit
Establishes and negotiates contracts, grants and service agreements, fulfilling any internal or external reporting requirements and evaluative systems to determine success of those projects
Collaborates with the Financial Manager with financial/operational analysis and its relationship with clinical operations
Works with the implementation and coordination of operational changes to meet financial goals including, but not be limited to, clinical operations, staffing changes, policy and procedure changes, and regulatory changes
Works with center to comply with all regulatory agencies
Develops social entrepreneurial opportunities for center
Evaluates community and regional clinical needs and develops business opportunities and a business plan to meet those needs
Establishes thresholds for clinical performance and creates system for the measurement and tracking of these standards

Full understanding of and ability to teach treatment planning, bio-psychosocial assessment and all levels of clinical documentation, and management of an audit process to assure documentation quality
