Title of position: Utility Billing Clerk
Position type: Part-Time 32 hours per week (not available for remote work)
Pay range: $19.00 per hour
Benefits offered: Healthcare stipend
Description of responsibilities:

This position works at the front office counter at as a main customer contact in utility billing. Provides exceptional customer service. Responsible for issuing monthly utility bills, customer invoicing, processing and balancing daily cash receipts) service orders and collections.
Accurately enter payments received in accounting software that effect customer balances, verifying accounts are posted correctly. Works with customers, staff, elected officials, vendors, and other stakeholders. Assists management in other general duties.
Required experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of two years) experience in general clerical work including billing and customer service. Special Requirements/Licenses: Preferred Notary Public Certification.
Required skills:
Proficiency with all Microsoft Office Suite programs. Project management knowledge. Experience in office and clerical skills.
