Job Responsibilities

As a Purchasing Agent, you will be responsible for ordering of all food, beverage and related items based on business needs.

Your specific duties in this role will include:

• Order food, beverage and related items timely to avoid delays or shortages.

• Receive and inspect all deliveries to ensure compliance with all specifications.

• Deliver any packages to appropriate departments as needed.

• Return merchandise that is not acceptable and note any credits issued.

• Store all incoming deliveries ensuring all food is rotated on a first in first out basis.

• Fill liquor/beverage requisitions for In Room Dining, Service Bar and the Main Bar.

• Stock associate soda vending machine.

• Maintain kitchen area storage closets, coolers and freezers in proper supply, organization and cleanliness.

• Complete end of month responsibilities including inventories and C7's.

• Review, log and code invoices ensuring proper pricing and accounting. 

Job Requirements

We are looking for a self-motivated Purchasing Agent with a strong work ethic and a drive to exceed expectations. It is also important that you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Specific qualifications for the role include:

• 3 to 6 months related experience; One year certificate from college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Solid organizational, time-management and prioritization skills

• Exceptional customer service skills

• Order processing system knowledge a plus
