Job Description:

This position will primarily be responsible for the processing of external customer and in-house orders, including 3D printing, post-printing cleaning, inspection/QC activities, and shipping. Additionally, this position is essential in the basic upkeep and cleanliness of printers and post-printing equipment as well as basic quality control functions.

Essential Functions

Preparing and 3D printing customer and in-house orders.

Cleaning and preparing 3D printed parts for inspection and shipping.

Performing initial inspection and either routing the parts to next level inspection or packaging and shipping the parts per the order instructions.

Basic monitoring of the health of 3D printers and cleaning equipment and performing non-critical maintenance tasks.

Performing tests on the 3D printing resins, running non-critical materials properties tests, and uploading testing data into the software system.

Monitor printing, cleaning, and shipping consumables and flag possible items for purchasing.

Skills & Experience

Willingness to learn about 3D printing and processing 3D printed orders. Having eagerness to contribute to a small but experienced manufacturing team.

Willingness to learn manufacturing and order processing software systems.

Strong attention to detail.

Able to demonstrate strong commitment to quality, process improvement, and teamwork.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate's degree preferred.

Physical Requirements of the Position

Must be able to operate a computer and keyboard, manipulate a mouse, and view a monitor.

Vision requirements include close and distant vision, peripheral, and depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Good eye/hand coordination (can pack/unpack, count, and handle/manipulate small or delicate parts and assemblies).

Must have good hand and arm strength and dexterity required to properly handle small and large parts and occasionally operate hand tools, barrel dolly, pallet jack, etc.

Must be able to lift boxes and objects up to 50 lbs. to table height and carry over short distances.

Must be able to use a ladder, stepladder, and/or mobile work platform/steps.

Must, at minimum, be able to work the core hours required by the business.
