Job Overview
As the COO, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our medical practice. You will be responsible for managing administrative functions, driving operational efficiency, and fostering a positive work environment that supports exceptional patient care. Responsibilities
Provide strategic direction and leadership in all aspects of practice management, including financial management, human resources, operations, and quality improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with physicians and other key stakeholders to develop and implement business strategies, policies, and procedures that support the vision and goals of the practice.
Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development of practice staff, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and legal guidelines, maintaining a strong focus on patient safety and privacy.
Manage financial operations, including budgeting, revenue cycle management, billing, and financial reporting.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with external partners, including healthcare organizations, vendors, and community stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for growth and improvement, and implement initiatives to enhance practice efficiency, patient satisfaction, and operational performance.
Stay abreast of industry trends, changes in healthcare regulations, and advancements in medical practice management to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience at a senior level in healthcare administration, with a focus on medical practice management.
Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a medical practice or other healthcare organization.
Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and revenue cycle management.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset to drive operational efficiency and quality improvement initiatives.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to effectively collaborate with physicians, staff, and external partners.
