Role Description
LUSEO is seeking a full-time Project Manager for MEP projects in our Miami office. This role involves overseeing the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of MEP engineering projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, budgets, and timelines. This is a client-facing position that requires strong project management skills and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and various engineering disciplines.
Responsibilities
Project Oversight: Manage MEP engineering projects, from initial planning to completion, ensuring alignment with quality standards, budgets, and project timelines.
Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate project tasks with internal teams and external partners, including architects, contractors, and MEP engineers, ensuring clear communication and seamless project execution.
Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, including A&E firms, contractors, and developers, ensuring project requirements are met and fostering strong client relationships.
Technical Oversight: Review and guide MEP system designs, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection layouts, to ensure solutions meet project and regulatory requirements.
Documentation and Compliance: Oversee the preparation and review of technical documents, reports, and drawings, ensuring compliance with company, client, and regulatory standards.
Quality Assurance/Quality Control: Implement QA/QC processes on MEP submittals to maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Construction Administration: Conduct site visits to assess project progress, support construction administration, and resolve any technical issues on-site.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, construction management, architecture or related field.
5+ years of experience in the engineering, architecture or construction industry.
Strong business acumen in project planning and management.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Fluent in Spanish.
PMP certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license considered a plus.
