About the Role:
As a Sr Financial Analyst here at Delphi Infrastructure Group (DIG), you will play a critical role in providing financial analysis and support to an exciting and growing utility infrastructure company. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to drive business decisions. Your expertise in financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting will contribute to the overall financial success of DIG. In this role, you will impact the DIG by providing accurate and timely financial analysis, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting strategic initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial models, evaluate investment opportunities, and drive productivity efforts.
Essential Functions: • Develop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections, and operating forecasts. • Leverage business insights gained in review and analysis to improve business forecasting and the accuracy of business forecasts • Special projects including M&A integration support, process optimization and financial system implementation support • Support the integrity of Delphi financial information through vigilant accounting and reporting accuracy • Review functional activities to identify opportunities and leverage technology for process improvements • Develop and lead process for periodic business reviews of various functions, including reports to CFO, CEO, and Board of Directors • Perform ad hoc analysis, reporting, and other tasks as requested from Senior Leadership
Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting background preferred but not required • 3-5+ years of finance or accounting experience • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP • Strong analytical skills, including ability to think about complex issues using scientific/critical thinking approach to solve problems and make sound judgments • Strong communication skills, including the ability to discern from available data what should be pertinent to management • Ability to communicate effectively with non-Finance business liaisons • Profoundly inquisitive with the desire to consistently exceed expectations
