The Housing Authority of the city of Easley (EHA) is seeking a qualified professional for the position of Director of Operations to assist with the daily operations of the Housing Authority. The successful candidate will report to the Executive Director and will be responsible for managerial and supervisory duties requiring the ability to be flexible and provide accurate information when dealing with persons from diverse backgrounds. The Director of Operations assists the Executive Director with a variety of administrative and accounting functions and develops and implements policies and programs required to achieve EHA's mission.
The position requires the exercise of independent judgement and the ability to deal effectively and professionally with EHA's residents, partners and fellow employees. The incumbent must also possess exceptional communication skills and the knowledge, experience and ability to verify all pertinent and supporting data to ensure EHA maintains compliance with Federal requirements.
The successful candidate shall have graduated from a reputable four (4) year university with a major in business/public administration or finance with at least five (5) years of supervisory experience. Experience in affordable housing, property management or a related field is preferred but not required. The successful candidate must also pass a background screening.
Annual salary for this position is negotiable based on experience and qualifications with a range of $50,000 to $55,000.
