Job Description:

Dr. Idriss, a skincare community-turned-brand founded by award-winning NYC board-certified dermatologist Dr. Shereene Idriss, is looking for a Director of Ecommerce. The Director of Ecommerce is responsible for driving growth of the D2C channel, as well as ensuring a seamless customer journey from product discovery to purchase to repurchase.

Job Responsibilities

Ecommerce
  • Build annual commercial plan to drive D2C growth, including promotions, bundles, GWPs, samples, etc.
  • Finetune website performance and customer journey to drive conversion
  • Create, execute, and optimize a differentiated product subscription strategy
  • Implement tactics to improve AOV year-over-year
  • Craft SEO-driven, educational website content in collaboration with the brand and product marketing teams
  • Manage website updates and troubleshoot technical issues in collaboration with external web developers
  • Partner with in-house creative team to design site homepage, PDP, and landing page assets

CRM
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to identify and execute upon email list growth opportunities
  • Develop and execute end-to-end CRM strategies to convert new users to first order, and to continuously engage and retain them throughout their lifecycle
  • Own, track and continually improve key retention metrics, such as LTV, repeat purchase rates, and NPS
  • Refine email and SMS flows to maximize retention and LTV
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to identify and execute upon email list growth opportunities
  • Grow loyalty program

General
  • Deliver monthly D2C revenue forecasts
  • Manage the ecommerce marketing budget

Our Ideal Nerd:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 7+ years of experience in D2C ecommerce
  • Experience in beauty and working with an omni-channel brand preferred
  • Fluency in Shopify, Google Analytics, and SEO
  • Proven track record of managing successful campaigns in Klaviyo or a similar ESP
  • Stronger quantitative and Excel skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • "No task too small" attitude
  • High attention to detail balanced with strategic aptitude
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
