RESPONSIBILITIES: The candidate will be responsible for the development of innovative, industry-leading fundamental asset class, portfolio, and security-level analytics, research, and performance measurement. The position reports to ACR's Chief Investment Officer and Managing Director of Performance. Full-time in St. Louis required.
Enhance ACR's fundamental data collection, processing, and presentation systems including oversight and ongoing development of the firm's core fundamental databases, dashboards, and reports.
Organize and oversee management of data from numerous structured and unstructured sources and accounting systems including portfolio manager and analyst inputs.
Work with key team members to develop an automated quarterly statement of fundamental portfolio holdings and performance.
Develop expertise and thought leadership in fundamental return attribution (see https://www.thinkingaheadinstitute.org/research-papers/fundamental-return-attribution/).
Pioneer industry accepted security and portfolio performance standards that coordinate presentation under GIPS and GAAP.
Survey, summarize, and publish papers on fundamental asset class and portfolio performance and explore methods that bridge gaps between quantitative factor research and fundamental security analysis.
Incorporate cutting edge AI technologies in all relevant processes.

Knowledgeable in AI foundations and methods
Minimum five years relevant industry experience
CFA designation and finance degree preferred
