Our client, a global quantitative trading firm, is seeking an innovative and ambitious Data Center Technician to join their growing team in Little Rock, AR. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced environment.
The Role:
We're seeking a motivated data center technician to help maintain a large fleet of servers and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data center HVAC, electrical systems, and troubleshooting server and network equipment. Proficiency in racking equipment and neat cabling practices is essential. Part of this role will focus on coordinating installations and repairs on-site with external vendors, so strong attention to detail and organizational skills are critical.
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical Work
Working on Switchboards and Switchgear
Maintaining Diesel Generators
Managing Power Distribution
Servicing UPS / Uninterruptible Power Supplies
HVAC
Working with Cooling Towers, Chillers, CRAC, CRAH, CDU, Dry Coolers, and Liquid Cooling
Operating under ASHRAE standards
IT Equipment
Racking and stacking
Cabling
Troubleshooting hardware issues
Requirements:
Strong preference for experience as a licensed electrician and/or working in industrial HVAC
Military experience working in a role supporting critical environments is highly valued
Experience working in a data center on the facilities side including power and cooling infrastructure, as opposed to technology

Occasional travel (quarterly)
Top of market compensation dependent on experience
