This position is part of the Mobility Core- Voice Core team that is responsible for the architecture, design, automation of the vUSP/IMS Application platforms. The primary responsibilities for this role would be to lead the end-to-end Voice Core test automation architecture, solution, and development.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end Voice testing automation software development effort
Lead the interworking capabilities of in-house voice testing automation tool (i.e., SoftTest) and packet core automation tool (i.e., ANT)
Evolve SoftTest Architecture to more modern software architecture and introduce Micro-service-based and containerization architecture.
Define Softest software architecture/solution to support end-to-end VoNR and ViNR testing to allow efficiently test case execution, validation and troubleshooting.
Integrate SoftTest tool to the CI/CD pipeline.
Lead the design of data feeds from SoftTest to AT&T data pool, e.g., SnowFlake
Integrate SoftTest with AT&T LevelUP defined software development process.
Effectively lead the joint onshore and offshore teams and work closely with other cross functional teams including Project Management, TP&E, operations and other partner organizations to ensure successful delivery of all software and features
Lead/support technology evolution between different hardware and software upgrade and support migration to new generation of technology

Qualifications:
Familiar with architecting, designing and deploying mobility/IMS network platforms and services
Advanced knowledge on 3GPP Packet Core and IMS platform architecture and protocols, such as SIP, Diameter, HTTP- REST, etc.
Familiar with various AT&T IMS service and features
Proven knowledge in end-to-end system performance and cross layer integration involving UE, RAN, mobility core network, IMS core and applications
Demonstrated experience in software tool development for Mobility services, with the knowledge of AT&T internal dev tools (e.g., Softtest, ANT) as a plus.
Extensive experiences in C++ and Python programming for prototyping, development, test data analysis, log analysis, algorithm development.
Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience in design, testing and deployment of Network Functions on different cloud and virtualization technologies like OpenStack as well as Containerization and Kubernetes.
Hands-on knowledge and skills to build test automation tools to enable CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Ability to solve complex, critical problems related to significant and unique issues by using extensive research and interpretative thinking.
PhD in an approved field from an approved university with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or Masters in an approved field from an approved university with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or a Bachelors in an approved field from an approved university with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
Our Principal Member Technical Staff earn between $180,200.00 - $270,400.00 USD, annually. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
