Position Summary
Reporting to Sr. Product Manager and working out of our Memphis, TN office, this associate-level role will contribute to the overall performance and growth of one or more consumer/DIY tool categories, focusing on hardware, home improvement, Automotive, farm/ag, and eCommerce channels.
Job Responsibilities • Assist in developing multi-year product strategies and roadmaps for assigned categories. • Support portfolio management, including pricing strategy, SKU rationalization, and margin improvements for both new and existing products. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage the entire new product development cycle from concept to launch. • Conduct financial analysis to assist in product portfolio decisions. • Provide support for the Sales Team through product knowledge training and sales collateral. • Work with Marketing to develop packaging and promotional materials that resonate with target audiences. • Perform market and user research to identify opportunities for innovation and new product development. • Assist in key account presentations, trade shows, and industry events to stay updated on market trends. • Track and report competitive activities and market shifts to senior management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • B.A./B.S. in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field • Pricing/Promotional strategy basic knowledge • Understanding of basic finance principals • Highly proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook • Strong multitasking skills, priority-setting, and communication/writing • A passion for tools or Consumer/Professional Tool, Amazon Seller Central, and/or Automotive Tool Industry experience(s) is a plus!
