Stasis Drilling Solutions, LLC is currently seeking candidates for all levels of Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) Operator position(s). Applicants should be highly driven, highly organized, possess leadership skills, and work well within a high pace environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervision and execution of all matters related to Managed Pressure Drilling, Rotating Control Devices and Hydraulic modeling with minimal to no supervision.
Responsible for pre-job planning, operational procedures, onsite client support, daily reporting, and hydraulic modeling.
Perform/assist in equipment rig up and rig down, equipment maintenance, inspection, and subsequent repairs.
Optimize existing MPD procedures and documentation regarding equipment, drilling, influx management, well stability, best practices, etc.
Responsible for communication between rig operations and office.
Provide feedback and advice internally/externally about operational, technical, QHSE and engineering practices/ requests/ challenges for the day.
Operate MPD system in real time in conjunction w/ drilling operations. Interact with the rig crew and advise driller and client of events or potential problems identified during the operation.
Troubleshoot MPD systems as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma
+2 years' experience in Drilling related discipline
Valid Driver's License
Ability to Work in the USA without sponsorship is REQUIRED
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
+2 years' experience in MPD or +5 years' experience in related oilfield industry
Valid Well Control Certification
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Relative experience with well modeling/hydraulics modeling software
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Lifting up to 55lbs.
Candidate must be able to pass a drug test
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Travel Required
Rotational position
Schedule flexibility may be required to meet Customer drilling schedules.
