The Edit is a social media agency located in Los Angeles, CA that specializes in social media management, content strategy, and brand building. Our goal is to help brands and personalities create authentic connections with their community and amplify their messaging through a variety of services within the marketing landscape. The Edit works with household names from Disney to the Kardashians.
Responsibilities:
Develop, design, plan and execute media assets for client social media platforms: Instagram (Reels + Feed primarily, IGTV is a plus), and TikTok
Ability to creatively produce video and photo assets that are engaging and in theme with each individual brand's aesthetic, ethos, and style
Stay current with industry/advertising/cultural/topical trends
Must be able to shoot and edit quickly (in instances of topical / timely trends)
Work in close partnership with Social Media Management team to coordinate on campaign themes, product releases, relevant brand information, deadlines, asset delivery
Requirements:
Strong photo, video and editing skills (specifically as it pertains to Instagram and TikTok)
Deep understanding of the main social media platforms and how to optimize content
Ability to spot trends before they becoming mainstream
Ability to creatively source props, models or other items needed for making strong, compelling content
Strategic and conceptual thinking, with passion for innovation and disruption
Highly driven and energetic, proactive and takes initiative
The ideal candidate lives and breathes social media, and thrives off of creating content that genuinely connects with audiences
Awareness of emerging technologies and platforms
