Materials Control Confirmer at STULLER INC in Lafayette, Louisiana

Job Description:

Join our Supply Chain Operations team manage inventory, procurement, logistics, and more and help drive efficiency, cost savings, and seamless delivery of quality products. The Materials Control team manages raw and fabricated metals, ensuring prompt order fulfillment and accurate inventory. They handle daily metal cycles, issue and receive materials, cut for orders, and collaborate across teams to resolve issues. The role of the Materials Control Confirmer is to fulfill internal & external orders at a fast pace and help maintain an accurate inventory and will be an essential part of helping the company's goal of providing the optimal customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Cut material to length using required tools to fill pre-cut inventory weekly and customer orders dailyPerform daily inventory counts for accuracy by counting and weighing material Support staff in assigned project-based work

Minimum Qualifications:
Good communication skills verbally and electronicallyBasic math skillsAbility to read measurements on a ruler, tape measure, digital caliper, and scaleFamiliar with Microsoft Office programsTeam orientedMust be able to stand for entire work shift
