Your Role:
Collaborate & Innovate: Work with a cross-functional team using agile methodology to define user stories and UX deliverables.
Shape the Future: Influence design and product owner decisions based on UX best practices, design principles, and cutting-edge research.
Team Synergy: Partner with developers to find the most effective, expedient, and efficient ways to implement solutions.
Feedback Champion: Collect, analyze, present, and action feedback, managing changes to deliverables seamlessly.
Engage & Persuade: Present your work in a clear and compelling manner to stakeholders, explaining design recommendations with confidence and data-backed insights.
Design Excellence:
Visual Storyteller: Design the visual style, interface, and interaction flow of applications and experiences.
Creative Architect: Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, and prototypes that captivate and engage.
Detail-Oriented: Develop and maintain detailed specifications and design patterns that set the standard for excellence.
Information Architecture:
System Builder: Gather and translate rules and assets into UX systems, programs, and enterprise solutions.
Documentation Guru: Prepare, manage, update, and distribute UX documentation, ensuring clarity and consistency.
User Advocate: Collaborate with business owners to develop features and flows that align with user needs and enhance their experience.
UX Research:
Strategic Researcher: Create research strategies based on project KPIs and develop usability test plans, scripts, and scenarios.
Insightful Analyst: Use research techniques to determine ease-of-use and comprehension of designs and ideas.
Engaging Moderator: Design, recruit, schedule, and moderate usability studies and user interviews to gather valuable insights.
Project Management:
Status Reporter: Provide timely status reporting on all projects, including work left to do, issues, and risks.
Communication Expert: Manage all communications necessary to get the project done, including negotiating with key stakeholders.
What We're Looking For:
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Visual Design, Library Sciences, or related discipline, or equivalent experience or training.
Experience: 5+ years as a UX practitioner with a background in user experience design, interaction design, or similar.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools (Sketch, Zeplin, Flinto, Adobe CC, Figma).
Collaborative Spirit: Experience working closely with developers from inception through implementation in an agile environment.
Analytical Mind: Advanced analytical skills for dealing with complex data problems and implementing sustainable solutions.
Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines, product lines, roles, and geographical boundaries.
Research Proficiency: Knowledge and proficiency in using remote unmoderated testing tools and moderated testing devices and platforms.
Design Principles: Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and a solid grasp of trends in web and app design.
Organizational Skills: Ability to label, classify, and intelligently build flows and wireframes for complex applications.
Iterative Design: Experience rapidly iterating designs for user testing and delivering to development teams.
Responsive Design: Experience in responsive, adaptive, and accessible designs.
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and communicate effectively with non-technical users.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Visual Design, Library Sciences, or related discipline, or equivalent experience or training.
Extensive Experience: 7+ years as a UX practitioner with a background in user experience design, interaction design, or similar.
