Job Title: Sales Development Representative (SDR) / Business Development Representative (BDR) - Camping, Glamping, and Resort Yurts

Job Overview:
As an SDR/BDR, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by developing managing both inbound and driving outbound leads within the camping, glamping, and resort industries. You'll drive lead pipeline, engage with prospective clients, qualify opportunities, and work closely with established sales partners, including Hipcamp, to expand our client base. This entry-level sales position is ideal for a self-starter who thrives on building relationships and creating new business opportunities in the outdoor hospitality space.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Management and Prospecting:
Actively manage and respond to inbound inquiries from potential clients, understanding their needs, qualifying them as opportunities and aligning them with our yurt solutions.
Conduct outbound outreach, including cold calling, email, and LinkedIn engagement, to generate interest among potential business clients.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads to meet or exceed monthly targets.
2. Qualification and Needs Assessment:
Conduct discovery calls to assess potential clients' buying potential, needs/requirements, timeline, and budget.
Qualify leads to ensure alignment with business goals, engaging clients through a consultative approach.
Record detailed lead interactions and maintain accurate data in CRM for effective follow-up.
3. Collaboration with Sales Partners:
Work closely with strategic partners, such as Hipcamp, to identify shared opportunities and provide cross-promotional support.
Coordinate outreach efforts with partner organizations to maximize lead generation and expand brand visibility.
Share lead insights and partner updates with the internal sales team to enhance partnership effectiveness.
4. Product Knowledge and Market Expertise:
Develop a deep understanding of Pacific Yurts' products, unique benefits, and industry positioning.
Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings to effectively differentiate Pacific Yurts in the market.
Collaborate with marketing to use current campaigns and align messaging with target audiences.
5. Collaboration and Handoff to Sales Team:
Seamlessly transition qualified leads to the Sales Account Representatives with detailed insights for follow-up.
Actively communicate with the sales team to ensure continuity and effective client engagement post-handoff.
6. Data-Driven Approach:
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), optimizing outreach efforts based on data insights.
Refine strategies continuously to maximize lead engagement, conversion rates, and partnership effectiveness.
Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in a sales development or business development role, preferably in the outdoor, hospitality, or related industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage clients and convey value.
Self-motivated hunting sales approach, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a remote or semi-remote setup.
Familiarity with CRM tools and experience in a data-driven sales organization is a plus.
Passion for the camping, glamping, and outdoor experience industries.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
