Tech Painting Company is seeking a dedicated sales professional for our DC Metro Commercial Division. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills and a desire to uphold our high standards of service. They will be tasked with managing our existing book of business while also developing new relationships with prospects.
Requirements:
A clean driving record
Previous sales experience
Previous experience working autonomously
Demonstrated success in previously held positions
Some travel required
Self-motivated professional
Familiarity with CRM platforms
Must be able to meet weekly sales goals
Must be able to work within budget
Must be reliable
Must be a team player
Preferred but Not Required
Experience in price estimation for similar work.
Responsibilities: The candidate is responsible for conducting any and all steps pertaining to bids and proposals. They will work with the Operations team to ensure a smooth transition once the contract is won. Candidate will also be responsible for executing marketing driven efforts as directed.
Sales:
Meet with existing clients
Identify potential qualified leads
Meet weekly sales goals
Be an active participant in the development of and/or adjustments as needed of a sales strategy
Attend meetings and professional association functions
Host clients and/or community partners at local events, dinners, luncheons, etc.
Estimating:
Meet with clients/prospects and formulate scopes of work
Write up and present estimates to clients/prospects
Operations:
Collaborate with Operations Manager to ensure smooth transition from closed deal to project start
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person- Alexandria, VA Corporate Office. The sales territory will primarily be the greater DC metropolitan area but can include other areas in the mid-Atlantic states as needed.

Schedule: Hours for this position are flexible, and while they generally follow normal business hours, they will vary to meet client and staff needs (i.e., sales calls and estimates during the day/crews work at night).
